Nashra Sandhu tests positive for COVID-19 ahead of training camp in Karachi: reports
Left-arm spinner Nashra Sandhu has tested positive ahead of the training camp which starts on April 24, it was reported by the ARY News.
According to the report, team’s physio Rafat Gul had also tested positive for the virus but recovered following a quarantine of ten days. Both of them had tested positive in their first Tests at their houses according to the instructions by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
However, other players had assembled for the camp on April 17, which will be held at the DHA Sports Club Moin Khan Academy, Karachi. The camp will commence from April 24 following a seven-day quarantine period in the hotel.
The women cricketers will undergo skills and fitness training camp under the supervision of head coach David Hemp.
Besides fitness sessions and net practice, the players will also participate in scenario-based 50-over, T20 and T10 intra-squad matches during the camp.
