Kushal Bhurtel, Karan KC star as Nepal thrash Malaysia by nine wickets 

Kushal Bhurtel and Karan KC stood out as Nepal thrashed Malaysia by nine wickets in the Nepal Tri-Nation T20I series.

Nepal, after electing to bowl first, had Malaysia on the floor as the home side had reduced the opposition to 4 for 51 in 7.5 overs as Karan KC inflicted a lot of damage.

There wasn’t any substantial contribution from any Malaysian batsman as the visiting side were rolled over just 109 in 16.5 overs. Karan KC got three wickets while Sandeep Lamichhane got two wickets.

In reply, Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh teed off from the start and took away the game from the opposition without giving any sort of sniff. Bhurtel ended up with an unbeaten 61 off 41 balls and Aasif Sheikh scored 42 off 29 balls. Nepal chased down the total in 12.1 overs with nine wickets in hand.

Karan KC was declared player of the match for his three wickets.
